Development Chemist
Location: Hampshire
Salary: 27-32k
The Development Chemist, will provide support to the Analytical Laboratory Manager in method development, setting up analytical instruments and conducting, analytical test methods.
Qualifications & Experience:
BSc, MSc in Chemistry, Science or Materials Science.
2-3 years working within a commercial environment,
Experience with working with ICP-OES and ICP-MS instruments,
Main responsibilities:
To work under guidelines within the Quality Management System
To Set up instruments and responsible for method development.
To conduct test measurements at laboratory scale
To liaise with clients and train technicians regarding any specified methods or instruments.
To be able to write accurate and concise reports.
To be able to work with minimal supervision.
To be able to work to deadlines and under pressure.
To prepare samples for testing and carry out analysis using a variety of analytical methods.
To be able to manage own work as well as collaborating with other members of staff as required
Skills: Analytical instruments, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, Method development, BSc Chemistry, Science graduates, Chemical industries.
