Senior Ink Technologist
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced ink technologist to join a well -established company in the South West of the UK.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Document clearly and concisely all scientific investigations and report all results and observations,
Participate in the production of documentation, including Manufacturing and SOP’s
necessary for the manufacture, and QC testing of developed products.
Contribute to project team meetings, such as R&D, staff and other meetings as
Required, and ensure that all activities conform to ISO9001.
The job-holder will be expected to be technically competent, dynamic and capable of showing initiative.
Educated to BSc or PhD in Chemistry or related subject, with at least 3 years experience in formulation, development and testing of UVFlexo inks and also, have experience in using rheomters, spectrophotometers, and densitometers.
Familiarity with the use of Microsoft office programs would be beneficial.
Excellent communication skills will be required as there will be regular interaction with personnel from other departments within the company as well as external collaborators and customers.
